Description

I made this sword inspired on The Lord of the Rings. One day I was watching the design galleries available on the Platinum Series DVD and I ran into some drawings. I took my pencil and a sketchbook and started to draw my own reference material. That sketch became a reality when the people at Renderosity Maya Forum opened the "bladed weapon" challenge. Modeled using NURBS

This reminds me more of Arwens/Elronds (I believe they are the same) sword. Is it based on that one? I really like it....very elfy

Very nice and sleak. Though the wood and reflection ruin the picture a bit and make it look like pastic. A better wood texture would better accentuate that wonderful elben blade.

simple yet elegant, very nice ! imho the connection between blade and the haft (is this the right term???) needs a bit adjustment... it doesn't seems to fit properly...
