Great image! Good distibution on the snow, and nice reflection in the water, and point of view. What are those dark blue things in the water?

yes hieght ripples are very diffucult to get right. go here http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~jomeder/WaterWorks/ripples.html this tutorial helped me get my HR looking alot better....surface looks great:)
