That's pretty interesting. We could use a few of those around the nude beaches over here. I like your use of texture and lighting, too.

Okay... I am not a product of an urban environment so... I don't quite understand. Would you please humor me and give a little bit more in-depth explanation as to how this would be so nice to have in every city? What do you want to be able to see from 10-feet higher above the ground?

I see you understand :-)It`s about our "live-style-madness" of today.Take it with a big bunch of irony ;-)

Most people would stop after the car was modeled, or the telephone booth, I LOVE how your renders look and can appreciate all the hard work you must put into them. Fine job!! dano

simply amazing, even the very first look told me it is set in urban germany, as i live there it was so easy to see, even feel! maybe urban viewing points are realy what we need in the future to understand the world within which we live in, what with the media feeding us shite 24/7?

you have finally gone out with a new image Fredi, I like every thing in it, overall the care in the smallest details as the writings on the walls, for example, the light in the telephone box the vegetation, the texturing on the sidewalk etc. How long have you spent to making everything?

Thanks to all:-)To get a bit technical:Im using a single Athlon XP 1800+ with 1024 mb ram.The image was rendered to 6400 X 2940 pixels in 6,5 hours,no radiosity, filesize about 87 mb cd4,about 1,6 million polys (thank god for the poly-slider). all together it took about a month to get it ready.Rendered in cinema 4d 8.1.Now, that should be enough for the moment :)

I think all I wanted to say has been said above. Not longer ago that yesterday evening I was leaving a trainstation that looks so much like this place (even though this is not a railway station :-) - fantastic how you manage to capture the right mood in this picture. Excellent!
