Description
This is a digital photo from the recent "Art Walks" festival a few weeks ago here in Olympia, WA. I also wrote a poem on 04-27-03' to accompany the photo. It is as follows and is entitled....
"Coffee & Donuts":
They have jobs, they have wives,
They have children, they have knives.
They are here, with us all, to protect and serve Summer, Spring, Winter, and Fall.
They are not all cold as ice, they are usually very nice.
At the fair, watching us, does this mean they don't like us?
Maybe some of you think of this, deep within your own abyss?
Look inside your very self, ask it why you're scared and diss.
Perhaps it is your fear of you, maybe you should take a few.
Paranoia exists within, obey the rules and enjoy them.
People just like you and me, not unjust mythology.

I love Your Poem!...and, I have looked very Deep into My Inner-self. I like Your Title...and so did the Police...the Donut Boyz... Peace :)

nice poem, you are too sweet... but I still think they need to lay off the donuts, overweight cops are useless, what if they have to chase someone by foot with all that extra gut they're carrying. Not good. Nice photo, It's always neat to see images of other parts of the world.

they can be helpful- but i was upset the last time i got a speeding ticket not that long ago & i couldn't talk my way out of it- even tried tears :( humph- oh well-
