Description

Hello all! My first attempt at a LOTR type of atmosphere. If I was any good at Poser I'd put some Rohan riders in the forground or something. The mountain is just 5 stacked DEMs with various mats and transparency alphas. The castle is George's from Poser free stuff over at 3DC (great castle!). I also made a varient of this mountain group a freebie over at 3DC. Very little post processing=slight color/level adj., and a slight diffuse glow. Bryce 5 render, Vistapro 4 and Photoshop used for alphas. Thanks for views and comments. Mario

Pretty cool effect. The forrest looks a little odd in places, but appart from that its great.

Magnificent depth and beautiful angle of sight Mario! Just a small "but" concerning the textures of the mountains which, according to me, should be worked otherwise, in a more natural way. The same thing with another texture of mountain and it becomes really great!! :):)

Again Mario not a lot to add to what has been said above, to me you are THE TOP Bryce landscape artist and I suspect that it will be VERY hard for anybody to come up with a better mountain scene. A vote from Belgium.
