Description

Hi everybody. I'm really excited by this, because it's from my first days as a member that I want to realize an image with another R'osity member. Luckily, I got the cohoperation of a wonderful Vue d'Esprit artist, Margit1 (click here to see her homepage and gallery, it's really worth a look!), and we finally did this image after a couple of months of throwing ideas about and a lot of fun. Margit is responsible of the central image, she did it in Vue d'Esprit and I treated it as a "photograph". At the beginning, the idea was to import the image as a background view (outside a window) in Bryce, but then I thought of "ruining" :) the beautiful image Margit did and showing the same spot after, as Stephen King says, "the world has moved on". Hope you like it. It was really fun to make, and very inspiring to confront myself with a very skilled person who, also, uses a different 3D package. This said, some tech notes/info (Bryce side): rendered at 1100x880 with Premium FX soft shadows at 36 rpp; rendertime 8 hrs; postwork with PS7 and Universe; "Toxic Waste Disposal" lettering in Elefont. Thanx for viewing and, as always, comments and criticism are well appreciated. Have a wonderful week! --- Stefano

This is a lovely idea. I wish R'osity had a file exchange area for these large files so that more collaborations would be easier. I am impressed by the atmosphere that Vue permits. It seems very warm and real, but I see that Bryce makes better shadows! Excellent, of course!!

Complimenti :o))) - Carlo

Great pic. Did you think about having the insert as a kind of poster or post-card wafting about in the wind,
