Description
"The sweat was pouring from the mechanics heads as they had a hard time fixing the large hole in the hull. Capten Forrester was relieved that they had left the cargo before the attack and the pirates must have realized the same thing as they did not fulfill their attack. Just to be sure Capten Forrester orderd the ship into the asteroidfield.
- I'd rather smash up this ship than giving the last Lightbringer and it's crew to the pirates! Damn this is like stearing an elephant through a supermarket...
Thanks for watching!
Stay tuned for more...

I would like to offer a comment, if I may. Use a single light source for your space scenes and let those shadows go black! It will make the scene more believable. Think NASA moonshots or Babylon 5, where there is almost no shadow detail. As the nebula is mainly blue, you could change the light colour to be a light blue, to give the scene "motivated" light. The HV smoke trail wouldn't really happen in a vacuum. Maybe a flare with a few particles would be better. Just my opinion. You're on the right track though :).

I need those deflectors NOW Scotty!!!!!!

I am rivetted with this series... my only suggestion for this particular image would be the trailing cloud of smoke... not that I know anything about smoke in space... but from an aesthetic point of view, perhaps a different colored, more transparent stream of smoke might be more effective. Still, this looks awesome!

hehehe gotta love the storyline behind these pictures, the elephant-through-a-supermarket thing cracked me up. the smoke does seem a bit too thick, but hey, i probably can't even do that, so i'll keep quiet heheh
Tibbe
yup smoke should be transparent or something

Thanks for the comments guys! Must say, i hate that smoke trail. You are probably right Moe! I don't exactly now why or how i decided to put it there. Probably just wanted to try it out... i't really doesn't work well with the rest of the picture=)
