This is an old pic of mine that I found on a CDR. I really like the cinematic, space opera look. All of these ships were originally modelled to be sprites in a 2d computer game, but my programmer backed out so the project died. Credits: The upper left hand ship's Hull texture came from the Mech constructors association. I honestly don't remember where I got the background, or even if it was OK to use it. If the original author of the background sees this pic and wants me to remove it I gladly will. Everything else was made by me. Looks like I rendered it in Truespace 3, based on the lighting. (Not sure when TS4 came out.) The background had some Photoshop 4 filters applied. and I just added some Gaussian Blur and film grain in post to make it look more cinematic.
