This makes me think of a short story about the Hellespont (sp?) a giant northern whirlpool. The writer travels to the bottom of the ocean as the whirlpool spins down, then back up. It's calm at the bottom. A real grabber of a story. You have illustrated it!

WOW! What a gorgeous peice! Look at how those blues and oranges just vibrate off each other. Those textures & fading effects are pretty neat too. Very Nice!
