Description
These are some concepts of the main character for a project I'm working on. His name is Cerlox Velkani. I like the pencil drawing on the left more - it suits the character better.
Along with his younger brother Zarniv and their friend Yahara, he runs a small bounty-hunting operation and, when things are slow, a bar in a rough part of town. Through some act of fate, they end up on a great adventure across many worlds. One of the main elements of the story is the contrast between those who use magic and imbued weapons and those who use advanced technology. Velkani takes more of a harmonic approach, incorporating some magic in his mechanical tools.

BTW, I'll probably scratch the ornate sword - it detracts from the mechanical look and is far too similar to his brother's. I'll go with an energy weapon - a larcross/jai lai-like weapon (spelling? ...hard to explain)
