Description
the obligatory space scene for new 3d enthusiasts. it is a shot from an animation of the planet orbit. basically i wanted to play with procedual textures. the sun's textures are animated making it appear tumultuous and unstable. turned out pretty cool actually.

I don't know Lightvawe and what exactly it can do, but as an aficionado of the genre "space Images" I can tell you this is pretty good!Only the lighting is strange (why the dark side is less dark opposite the sun?)
