Darkness She
Beauty was found in your darkness, and she
gave you more..much more promise than I ~
Beauty was found violent in your lair,
no golden light dances in her hair,
and you love her! That you cannot deny.~
You love that you can draw her crimson smile
into a single fridgid line.
You love that she hungers as you do, and
with that beast you'll dine.~
Forgotten am I the light, that you could never ever dim.
She will grace your darkness and be at your beck and whim.~
You were a cure for my broken heart in a moment of
bitter loss.
and you knew I'd take each strike...each blow, no matter
what the cost.~
You desired the greed and lust that fills your souless veins,
but watch out for the darker she, in the storm and when it rains.
For she is more cunning than what you could ever be.
She'd take the remnants of your heart and never set it free.~
And at the brink of death, when she steals your final breath,
when the darkness opens to a light, you'll follow it
without fear.
For I'll be waiting with delight to take your hand my dear.
