Description

Always loved ancient CG scenes. Just a 10% job complete test render (the final scene render will look a way different). Render time: 30 minutes. Specially for wireframe lovers a screenshot. The scene is full of NURBS and bumps. For the first time I was using layers, hiding and stuff, though my comp was nearly dead (P4 2.4GHz, GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB and 256MB RAM). Have to confess - no textures were used. The final scene is planned to be ready before this Summer(hopefully), well, if my comp survives of course. Hope you comment it, any opinion, suggestion is accepted and appreciated. Thanks for viewing.

I'd ease up on the polygons first off!! Wow! Try adding detail with bump maps, or by the time you're finished modeling you'll need a render farm to get your final image! Lol, just wondered if you'd tried a radiosity render yet :)

upping the system RAM from 256 would help keep your system from dying on the scene.
very impressive wireframe shot. Wondering why the extra poly's in a couple places, but that may be for more detail later.
keep up the great work

The details on the ground will help me modelling grass on it (a little grown up grass between the plates on the ground).

Yeah, a car breakes through the wall and the whole building collapses, but the car escapes thanks to the power of the car, someday I'll make it.
