Description
I made this "Blue Jay" using Crayola washable markers over pencil background sketch, and used a book for reference called "Watercolor Basics; Drawing and Painting Birds" by Shirley Porter. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking, :-)
(PSP 7.04 post for color balance)

Thanks all for very nice comments :-), I am most happy to hear such kind words from such talented Artists as yourselves, and means much to me. Your words of kindness inspire me to maybe even try to use actual paint instead of Crayola Washable Marker next time I try a lesson from one of these watercolor books ;-) As Tani says, I must keep busy, and not so lazy with the pens. I didn't feel like breaking out all the paint stuff, but this was still cool to do. grrrduhbear, thanks but I am not that cool. This Blue Jay is most cool as compared to me, but I am trying. For two I can't fly, and it is prettier too(at least the real ones I see in backyard are spectaular in beauty and great blue color) Tedz, thank You, and this is a cool bird I think, as the Pukeko of NZ I think as well, and most happy You noticed the resemblence even more than myself because maybe the birds I keep seeing in my backyard here are Blue Birds, not Blue Jays, but the One in the book I used as reference is a painting of someone elses to begin with. I must do some research on this Blue Bird/Blue Jay topic. Perhaps more than one of both of these is what I am thinking. I hope to check this out soon, because this is cool. Peace & Love :-)
