Nice,.......what about some motion blur on the choppers and rotor blades ? And wouldn't choppers that close to the ground be blowing up a tiny bit of dust ? Great idea.

Sackrat, yup. I would aslo suggest soft soft shadows and a material change on the windows of the 206's. As a technical aside I would also suggest adding a horizontal stab on the helos, from memory i believe all our products had one (should be about halfway down the tail boom and just a bit wider than the cabin. Otherwise cool idea!

The helos were a freebie from 3D Cafe (If my memory's correct.) Just needed something "quick n' dirty". Was playing a little bit with some grid developed shapes in Wings3D and thought "that would make a cool UFO." Then threw together a few renders for the cloaking effect. I suppose I could have done more in post. As far as rendering goes, I've got Bryce 4. So it has a few less rendering settings than 5. I guess I could have cludged together a workaround (using extra lights), but I was having fun and wasn't planning on doing a really long render.

I think with some blur the choppers look more like shadows it's the lack of light from the top. But I think the desert look fine. Bubba looks fine too. perhaps more lights to show that bubba is active.
