Description

Xenis' hand rested gently on the body of the dormant shell of the IT.B.02 menial service robot. It was centuries old, it's internal battery pack had faded several hundred years ago in the past. Xenis looked around the other robots that were there. Before the Biogenics came into being, robots were dependant on human fabrication units, their lifespan was limited because of batteries and powerpacks. So many had served before Xenis, so many were just laid to rust when their usefulness was no more, so many had fought for recognition and freedom, eventually so many had died defending their cities from the vengeful humans. Xenis stood up and turned away, she hadn't come to the old city for decades, the Biogenic cities were beautiful, floating crystal structures over the oceans, most of the old cities were submerged, but a few were still accessible. Xenis came every fifty years or so to remind herself where her kind came from, and what was sacrificed on the Earth for the freedom of the Biogenics. --- AndyGraph's Cyborg IT.A.01 IT.A.02 IT.A.03 and IT.B.02.
