I like the image ... a lot. The fog near the ground adds a bit of mystery to the mood of the image. The stones you used seem to have some sort of horizontal banding. Please keep in mind that standing stones (megaliths, menhirs, dolmens, circles, avenues, and chambers) were erected as long ago as 6500 years. At that time, man had no metal tools and did not have the ability to refine or work metal. Even though those standing stones predate metal tools, the builders used small hard stones to engrave decorative markings. The engraved shapes are limited to these nine basic geometric forms: cup or dot, line, circle, rectangle, arc, zigzag, wavy, spiral, and oval forms. If you wish, IM me for specific references.

Very nice image! Where did the trees come from?

Much better than the Beta version, Joda! The only thing you could improve now are the bark textures - they are a little flat.

Well done! I'd add some more shrubbery and grass, since the ground looks a little bit too artifical. The mist is a very nice touch, which gives your image a very mystical atmosphere.
