Description
Hi everyone. This is a character I created for a short I hope to do. The image is meant to be hyper-real not photo-real, so the skintones are simplified and the suit over detailed. Let me know what you think!

Terrific work. I think that your stylized approach to this character is done extremely well and I really like the hyper-texturing on the suit. Great contrasts put together very effectively.

Looks good but as a black man I could understand how it could be offensive, I know how much work had to go into this so I'm sure your isn't to offend

I was really trying to make beatiful, expressive and strong features. Imagine him as the anti-Michael Jackson. There's a book called "Black Beauty" that makes a case for embracing the strongly African features with pride and I really took that to heart. jim

James, at times art can strike us all differently, and the viewer may never know what the artist true intentions are, Believe me I understand the debate over The "Michael Jackson" mind set. Characters in extremes can be a touchy nerve for many of us, but nothing is perfect in this world, still you have great work- Peace
