wow. another Phoenix & Wolf piece. pretty proud of this one. the idea came to me sometime during the dueling fiddles in Lord of the Dance. (was watching it tonight around 9 or 10-ish.) i really like the simple, balanced composition. the whole concept behind it is that Phoenix is showing us a dream he wove from one of Wolf's memories of him. unfortunately, i don't think the phoenix on the dream-fabric scanned well.
rendered with the bic no. 2 (praise tha lord! ^_^) on 60# rough by Strathmore (great sketch pads). steal at risk to your own life, as i shall hunt you down and bash your skull in with my pencil.
