with using lighting and POV the same pose can express several emotions as demonstrated in this series.

i understand what you mean and i've experimented some with it before, but i dont see it in those pictures, im sorry :P it would work way better with a higher detail object+bumpmap etc and some other renderer than the poser renderer

Adam ! Oh Adam! What have we done? What have we here, Done under Gods sun? We asked his blessing Together joined one And imagined His light Shining thru Us ,was done! You took me to places, That I've never been, Lifted my spirit, The darkness you sent. You taught me to see The Godself in me. And taught me my sorrows, Was because I saw me. You taught me together, As two we are one, When joined with our lord, We are infinite One! Oh Adam ! you casted out, Poor lonely , Poor me. Let me believe, together we'd be. Living in Glory, In service of One. Gods glorious soldiers unbrellowed with sun. But Adam! Oh Adam How could I believe, Why do I now feel So alone and decieved. While in my new solitude, where three are not one, Am I not to feel, The subtractions sum? How cruel feels this lesson, Now the Lord is alone, No Adam! No Eve!
