Description

I made a logo for my band, like, 10 years ago (when illustrator first had the knive tool). Now I imported it into the spline modeller, converted it to the mesh modeller, got rid of the creased edges AND did subdivision smoothing. And added glass. The ball in the back is a noise deformed sphere with procedural shaders (hail those cellular functions!). The visual could be on our CD, titled 'Rock Gems' or something like that. Of course a little post processing was done in Photoshop (some levels and overlaying and blending blurred version of the image on top of each other, and a little DOF with help of the Distance channel). It is just beatiful to look at. IMHO. It makes me appreciate Carrara to do little experiments like this.
