Description

Hi there all - welcome to the first collaboration between Katherine Powell (Kath13) and Jason Aaron Steel (racin-jason). As Kath and I share our Art-Dreams.net Web Site together, we have also embarked upon collaborating on our artwork. "Olympian Dreams" our very 1st - is mostly done by Kath with postwork touchups and highlights by me. I had so little to do with this wonderful render that I feel as though I'm almost an invader...lol. The Temple was created by Marforno; the female character was created by SkoolDaze, while the muscular gentleman was a creation of by Exotica called 'David'. Kath created the lovely sunset background using KPT6 in PSP7. I repainted and mutilated the arch, touched up the torch light, highlighted the figures, and created deeper shadows to better simulate the environment. Here's hoping you find something to like about our first collaboration - many more to come - and your thoughts are welcome.

Looking at images like this reminds me of how much I "don't" know about Poser. A beautiful render and a superb tribute to a dream that many work there whole lives for but never achieve... Congratulations you two on a fabulous piece of artwork :) I will definately have to take some time out and visit your site to see what you guys have cookin'... thanks for the invite too Jason :) EXCELLENT!!

A little hint, his hair looks quiet natural, but hers is a mess. it needs more highlights and shadows. also it still looks like one entire mass. please rework that. I'm sure you can do that. The edges of the cloth could be more sharp. there is no cloth, that Ican remember of, that just fades away into nothing. These are my constructive hints on it. I hope they help you on improving your collaborated projects.

Nice to see people team up to explore their creative talents.Maybe Dynamic Duo would have been more apt to describe this talented pair. Have to say that Monochromatic color schemes have a way of invoking emotion and drama far more efficiently than any other schemes. Ansel Adams is living proof of that.I like the dominant use of yellow which invokes sensuality as well as creating a sense of granduer. Well structured, composed and executed. Well done. Look forward to more postings.

WOW you guys, this is fabulous work! It doesn't matter how much one did in this wonderful piece, the fact that you both put your amazing talents and skills together to form this top notch image is what counts. The setup of the scene down to the postwork are all so well executed. Im impressed with this first outing and can not wait for the next by such a great team. Bravo Kath and Jason. ---- Scott.
