This is nice, Michael. I see many similarities in our style of rendering. I guess that's why I like this so much. It has a very painterly quality to it. Maybe I'm not so crazy about the texture on the mousetrap but that's minor. Well done.

Yes, I'd have maybe used less of a 'telephoto' but wider lens, but that may ruin the composition you've acheived and also less color saturation on that floor to make the other elements stand out more.
