I have to adjust my image to just what you have. Lounging on the tree that way I think of a Jaguar but quickly adjust to the more open forest of Africa and the leopard begins to show it's spots. The sinuousness of the body gives wild it's potential.

As a lover of the big cats myself, I have on a few occasions, tried painting them a number of times. I would be a liar if I said anything other than 'this leopard is excellently done - and especially that pose. I've seen uncountable numbers of photographs of these majestic felines reclining in trees, so I can definitely vouch for the realism factor. There are not too many artists brave enough to tackle such a complicated subject as these sleek animals, much less take on the more complicated pattern found in their gorgeous coats. Excellent job Casey - and I give this my vote.

Lookin real Good! I admire a man that can pick up a real paint brush, all this puter stuff can feel a bit fake or a like a cop out. Though the results are great, there's just something about the real thing that screams, real skill! Great work on the Leopard, he looks content, did he just eat tweety? Kudos my friend, KUDOS!

What a wonderful image, great adjustment of color where light is highting and expressive facial image. It is very hard to control oils and you have done a fine job. Thank you for allowing me to view your work.
