Awesome photorealism, but the woodgrain in the mats on the gun stock are too straight. Dunno exactly how you would tweak it, but..

photorealism? no i dont think so but it looks good. but i think the proportions are not perfect.

Thank you for the comments MRNot. I do wish to explain something here. Stocks which are made out of wood comes from the heart of a tree. This has for result that the grain is straight. As for proportions the Thompson was modeled over an image of a real one, every element on this picture where scaled on live ones. I understand that art is a always opened to interpretation but I always take extra precautions to scale elements in a scene or on a model. ;)

hmm..the bullets look more like .38's than .45's, but a minor point (I think they're usually brass cases, but it's a real ez tweak). There's usually some horizontal holes cut on the flash suppressor in front, but to be honest, ya can't see them from here.
I was lucky enough to actually try one of these babies out a few years back. For such a big gun, the recoil is actually pretty manageable..the gun itself is no lightweight, tho..;) great work.

Someone has a smoking problem =P The moddle looks real good, could use some more detialing on the main body (the part that does the shooting), you know what i mean :)
