This is terrific, but: the transparency isn't convincing to me. Is this supposed to be "materializing"? If so, showing several of these critters, in different stages will let the viewer know what's up. The foreground leaf is a little visually confusing as it composites with the "leg"-- it appears that the leaf is in front-- but then look at it again and it appears that the "leg" is standing on "the leaf". Digging up a little dirt, showing some physical interaction between the model and the environment would be great. I love the shape, and the rubber tubing-type connection. . .

A lot of thanks for the comment.It pretends to be only a mix of reflexion and refraction. Other way of camouflage differnt of the green/brown colors. On the other way , it's true there's a failure on the picture.I'll change this. This robot could run on the grass, because I've use a matte/shadow map with noise. So It could be possible.
