BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

No - i dont think so, riko! It's just born!! Simply but spectacular! Love the names you give your creations!
Azael
Well it lacks an in depth background, but i personally dont think it needs one riko. Well done!
Doublecrash
Wonderful. Again. The mat you used makes it all more fascinating.

A remarkable use of material here.
Charmz
The rusty texture of the peice sort of belies the title, new born, yet sort of aged and decayed. Very interesting. I love the shapes you use in your works!
Trouble
I agree with Charmz opinion. This is very nice.
drumboy
it works for me guys, i can just see it peeking from within... ...whatever it is you wrap one of these things in when it's born! ;)

WOW. I can't say enough about this one. Everything; shape, movement, textures, and mood all work beautifully together. I don't usually get into this genre of art, but your pieces keep pulling me in and capturing my attention. I'll say it again, you seem to be able to make inanimate things feel as if they are alive and living.

For some reason when I read the title and see the image, it fits perfectly in some sort of spiritual way. Great texture and atmosphere control. Your images really are from another world.

Very fine and elegant composition. Love that sinuous shape. Get my vote.
