Excellent image! Just a couple of historical pointers... The uniforms for women in the 40's were vastly different that what you have here. Usually they were a light peacoat with a beige or light green blouse underneath.
Just a nitpick from a major WWII buff :) Another image that would be excellent for the back ground, would be one entitled "Daddy, what did you do during the Great World War II?" It was an enlistment poster.
Again, just a couple of pointers from a history buff :) Great image! WOOT!

It was interesting to me while visiting Normandy there were many graves for women. There is little mention of the women that gave their lives during WWII. Thank you for a great memorial.

Good touch with the poster, and would love to see some of the old recruiting posters attempted (my favorite for unabashed sexism was the "Gee, I wish I were a man -- I'd join the Marines"). Let's see some more WWII, folks...esp the homefront!
