Description

Here he is again. The explorer alien. It's different this time though. He was rendered and textured in a different program. Cinema 4d. I wanted to put him in the Cinema 4d gallery but he was all modeled up in poser with a really small bit of post work in Photoshop. I'm liking Cinema 4D lot's of freedom and it's not real hard to pick up. Thanks linkinpark for the recommend. This sci-fi kick is running thick but soon I will be switching channels. -Enjoy

How I wish for two things in life - [1] for a brain that could comprehend technical things like 3D software programs; and [2] a money generator that pumped out genuine legal tender so I could actually afford programs like Cinema 4D; Lightwave; Truespace; Bryce and so on. Poser 5 depleted my bank account when it was first released and I still don't know how to use the darn thing - I can't even get the file hierarchy thing straight in my head...lol. Then - I come across people like you Chris - and I sit here looking and weeping like a baby. Even our mutual friend Linkinpark's 3D renders make me green with envy. This masterful looking Borg-like creature could have found an immediate a gainful position on Star Trek TNG - and if not - likely stared in his...um...um...er...its own Sci-Fi sitcom. A gorgeous piece of work Chris - now I'm off to cry and sulk.

Strange, but very cool. I like the wires coming out of him and the eyepatch...

Have yet to try Cinema 4d... Looks as though you have grasped it nicely... I am too a little envious of how your 3D skills are coming along... maye, just maybe, one of these days I'll be able to create something as cool as this... maybe :)

I like Cinema4D too, though at school I am beaten and forced to use 3DMax. This is excellent!
