Purple Cows Everywhere muuuuuuaaaaaaahahahahahaha!!BIOI Started drawing when I was about 11 or 12 years old, I'd go buy comic books & look thro them & find somehting I liked & would try to draw it.
I first was introduced to 3d art with a program called midnigh modeller, & then moved onto moray & povray & spent bout a year doing that & then to poser 1, Found rendrosity one day while i was surfing the net & after bout a month bought poser 4, & I've been using it for over a year & a half.
& has all the chat regulars have come to know me as the crazy purple cow. hehhee
Now the main programs I use are Poser 4 & Photoshop.

I think you should probably take some time to do some light studies to better learn how light hits an object and how shadows and highlights ar distributed depending on the light source and object texture. The biggest problem here is that your highlights follow the shape of the line art when they should be following the shape of the muscles/fabric folds. I don't want to be too harsh, because it's really not my style to discourage people, but you would really benefit from looking at how professional colourists "do their thing" and reading some tutorials like the ones at polykarbon.com and comiccolors.com.

I like this alot. Suggests motion as Supy is changing and running, much like the 1/2 hour TV series from the 50's-60's. Excellent art.

I agree with orca - the blue highlights are wrong and should be following the muscle shape not the lineart. Plus the edges of the highlights are too defined on the blue bits. The cape and suit bits look ok for now.

Great intro to "the man of steel".
