Description
A digital photograph behind St. Martins College here in Olympia, WA. This wilderness area is of some private land on St. Martins property, and I like to go there on occasion to relax, esp. after I overdo it on the coffee. I shall have to go again soon, as it has been a few weeks too many, I have been overdoing it a bit with the caffeine, and this is great place to just "chill", and get away from the hustle and bustle of life on the streets. Even though I can still hear the traffic just a half mile or less away, it is still quite an escape, and I almost don't hear it(traffic) if I don't think about it because the beauty is so overwhelmingy cool here in the woods. (post work including sharpening a bit, and resizing done with HP Photo Editor software.) Thanks for looking, -Peace :-)

I can relate. Being surrounded by trees has the same calming effect on me. And the bigger the trees the better. :)

The trees have a calming effect on me too. In fact it can be a sleeping effect from all the fresh air - happens to me whenever I go to the forest - we even call it 'getting drunk with oxygen' here :))) Great shot :)))
