For your first exploit in Terragen, this is a great shot. I would assume that you're working with the trial version, but that aside- you made good use of the limited resolution for the ground. Your low level texture mapping is very nice, the way the rock plays off of the grass. You may want to rethink and play around with the snow a bit, making it more gradual as it goes from grass to snow. The formation of the ground is cool, but the atmosphere is kinda gross looking. Not to choose such a harsh word as gross, but maybe muck around and see if you can find something more 'mountainous' to go with the location. =) Anyhow, this looks cool, and I'm sure you'll have greater stuff to show in the future. Keep trying. =

Wow...you certainly have a gift with terragen..personally I think your snow line is excellent..I havnt used terragen for years but after looking at this I think I will have another go..trouble is that I always want to put water in and then I have to think about waves and shore lines etc..I have a couple of plug ins but they dont do the pictures justice..I would like to import a 3d model of a sunken ship and then reduce the opacity of the water...hmmm..now I am thinking..thanks for the input..well done!! :)
