Description

My first serious attempt to create a model using Cinema 4D. Blue glass enamel on gold base egg. 5 lights and lots of splines and lathing were used to achieve this "simple" Faberge imitation look. 1 hour render time. I have SO much to learn! Comments, please. ;)

I like the texture & the lighting but the floor is blown out,I guess its the reflection setting in the material. I'm amazed this is your first render in Cinema. keep at it, at this rate, your work will be worth waiting for

Try to achieve a good-looking caustic-reflection on it. that would be cool. And yes, the floor looks bad. Try putting it in a dark mahogany case with red-velvet cloth-interior...

My best compliments for your design (faberglooks-like) and the materials, I really love this blue color!
