just looking for opinions, these are the two pics before and after I think i may have gone a little overboard on the pre-impact shot. let me know what you think. ships from gwarsband's byrce ship pack and fire from d. proctor at movie mesh. and post work over-done in "gimp", (great freeware photo edit program, almost the same as photoshop)

I think that the effects are a bit "over the top" in both images. Maybe if you toned them down a bit - the original images are pretty good in their own right. - IMHO
