Description
Still WIP, I still want to add more detail/textures. I just wanted to make a cool weapon of some kind so I came up with this. The whole thing was moddeled in an afternoon.
Unfortunately the text on the blade isn't readable so here is what it says:
"In death you become my faithful servant. All you were, all you ever will be becomes me, the Reaper of Souls".
I might play around with the texturing and font to make it more readable. The blood is also a work in progress, it currently uses blobby particles but it looks way too fake, I guess I'll have to model it to really get the right look.

oooh pointy :), looks great, but as for practicality as a weapon, i think id probably end up stabbing myself with it as well as the enemy

Nice render. Great work... Since you want more details, you could add a "bandana" (Sorry, I'm not good at english, this is the closest word i found) where you hold the weapon... I think you were probably going for a scythe or sickel look.... but the way the handle is placed i dont think it would be very affective in that sense. If you were going for a kama.. it came out very well. Two, youd probably want the weight shifted more towards the head of the weapon rather than having it balanced out some. So id say scratch the blade on the end. The crecent blade also seems to be out of place and unproportional to the angle of the rest of the weapon. You could try a darkened black inprinted lettering instead too... might show up more. Anyways, keep at it, its coming along.

i second that, that really looks wicked!! :) i wouldn't worry so much about the practicality, weapons from games like Final Fantasy don't look too realistic, but that doesn't stop people from playing it hehehe...
