Description

Welcome to the era of the New Jedi Order where the New Republic faces the almost impossible task of keeping defending itself against a relentless and dangerous foe known as the Yuzzhan Vong, an era that allows 3d artists to take liberties with the designs of some of the most famous movie spaceships ever and create whole new ones that don't need to be exact, detailed replicas ;-) All the models are originals, the XJ series Xwing is a new design, more compact and sleek than the original Incom T65's from the little-known indie movie. The XJ is part made-up, part Ralph McQuarrie inspired, the freighter is part Imperial Shuttle, and the city is a 3D sketch of sorts. I cut the render time down from 35 hours (Network) to 3 hours by cutting out the premium effects and finished the thing off in post. Thanks for looking.
