Description
Working on a pic for a friend's Bureau 13 moduel.
Thought I would post it here and get some input. Suggestions on making this better VERY welcome.
It is supposed to depict a woman channeling a spirit that is ready to enter her body.
Thanks for viewing.

Her right arm looks submerged in the bed compared to her butt. Apart from that, you captured a cool mood here. Good work!

I'm glad the text provided an explaination because I thought we had a very lucky and enthusiastic midget here! Wonderful scene though and the lighting really creates a nice otherworldly mood :)

Wow what a nice job brig ....Hope this is a good spirit .. Id like to see what becomes of her in the after he/she spirit enters as one cannot assume this is neither a male or female Spirit. I love the lighting as well and the composition of this . I like the mood of the room too with accents on different styles of culture...Bravo -MQ

Cool depiction, brig :D

Yes, the arm does look to be too far into the bed. Another possible idea (maybe for a variant of this or something) would be having the spirit above her, almost like it's going to lay down. Just a suggestion though. :) Other than that, this looks very nice! Awsome lighting.

You can use a post-blur to soften the arm depression. The light burst creates nice heat and flash. The color channels a strong glandular reaction. Depth of field could also create a focal plane at the entry point of the spirit. That would make the foreground bed post softer and less intrusive. The dynamic motion of the spirit could be shown with a sequence of progressively opaque figures approaching the entry point. (Just trying to pipe in on your fantastic image said the little voice)
