Description
A simple scene with only 8 objects and no vegetation. I'm not happy with the terrain in the foreground, but I love the atmosphere. I'm slowly learning, hopefully i'll continue to improve.
Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated, I can't learn without them.

I like the terrain in the foreground, but in the background, they are too smooth. cajomi

excellent image - i would only "smooth" the big hard cutted structure in the foreground, without losing the roughness of the stone. Atmosphere is outstanding!

I actually think this is very good CP, the atmosphere is excellent, the lighting comments it well, and the depth is also very good. Suggestions from me would be to mess with textures a little more, perhaps combine a few and play with lots of settings to see what you get, and put some vegetation in. (I think a common trick is to use vegetation to 'cover' the less desirable areas of pics... Don't be ashamed, we all do it LOL) Hope this helps.. Kutter

Wow... I had somewhat given up on this image, but I guess it isn't all that bad. I'll keep working on it, and be sure to update. I've got to work on my texturing... I still have trouble with doing anything besides the presets. I might try some vegetation also, but I sort of like it without. Thanks again for the encouragement. -CPFitz-
