Description

Anacapa Island is off the Central California coast. There are many islands out there. Most are well traveled with tourists and science stations and military installments. Anacapa is a State Reserve/Park and protected out to one mile underwater. A former volcano, Anacapa has sheer cliffs throughout and very clear water, like something out a fantasy novel. Lived most of my life in California and just heard about this place on a nature program on tv. Tried recreating it as I saw it. *** gulls by John Spirko

Very pretty, and a great atmosphere! How'd you do those Birds?! Thier fantastic. As for improvements, consider more foliage on the right (cali plants are usually dry dingy shrubbery =D ) and perhaps some more surf down below! --Again, great job!

I have lived in Calif. all my life... and I always' see the islands on a clear day, from out Santa Barbarba way, off the coast of the 101 frwy.
