Description
I was going for an image that looked like it was an enlargement of a small photograph. In this case, I chose a piece of police evidence. I left some color on the pick to try to add to the surreal/creepy feeling I was going for. Not sure if I got it.
Modelling in Lightwave 7.5c with post work done in PSP 8.

I think you acheived your goal! Good Work!

nice, but I think the blood may be a bit too uniform. maybe slap a weight map on there and make the blood on the edge only? that's the only thing I see...nice work so far. The piece has a great feel to it too

Thanks for the comments. EBac2001, there's not really an edge on an ice pick, just a point. I suppose I could have tried to smear the blood in the horizontal direction... There's an idea...

Perhaps you'd consider adding an evidence tag to the item? I'm at a loss to add any more helpful comments.... you've definitely nailed this one nicely. :o)

I might also add that Den Beauvais (www.den3d.com) help with the concept of this pic.

Bloody Ice Pick, I am reminded of an old movie, Basic Instinct ring a bell... Maybe Im wrong in thinking its an ice pick, but if it is, then EBac2001 is a little off base. Since ice picks are round, and have no edge his input would be in the wrong context. I would only say that the blood should look a little more wet, which would increase the creapy feel of the image. Wet drippy blood, maybe im a bit morbid... Yeah I am.
