Description
This is a background painting I did for the "Thundercats/Battle of the Planets" crossover from Wildstorm Comics.
There were four of these background paintings, of which I'm posting two here. Each one contained at least one poisonous plant--they are death scenes waiting to happen. In this case, the offending plants are the bloody-looking orchids in the foreground. That building down below, that's...the catflap palace or something. ;) (Actually, I have no idea what it is, but it was supposed to be there.)
This background painting is after the landscape paintings of Martin Johnson Heade.
