Certainly a sort of siderial time based on the earth's orbit around the sun could replace the clumsy rotation on it's axis that holds only for the earth but up on Mars what does the first point of Aries mean? The use of the term Sol as a fixedy which varies for each planet has been offered. Just how that works out with history already anchored is something the moon walkers began and these Mars explorers will find fully demonstrated. Excellent conjecture.
