Description

Created with UF. Some add-ons in PSP from a programme called "Dust Fractals". So I could render my UF image real large and then add the little flames. The Julia has a new bailout condition that counts when z and a reference point are "near" (hit) and counts the iteration number. If the difference between "iter" and "hit" grows to much, the calculation bails out. When I apply this to Mandelbrot, the black parts look totally different from the normal Mandelbrot, the Julias sometimes look similar to the normal Julias with the Standard-UCL, but they differ a little with other UCLs... A nice UFM game...

I have no clues about any of the technical notes (erm ;) I am a jerk ;)) but you know, that your works always inspire me a deep feeling :) their beauty is timeless and doesn't need anything more than itself to be spectacular to me :) Hugs dear.. have a perfect weekend :)

I have been using Dust Fractals also to create some of my newest postings. I like the program very much. Nevertheless, this is a beautifully done flame Julia! Great job!

Striking image, Andreas. Seeing how you worked on it reminds me of how much of a newbie I am - but gives me motivation to keep on learning. Thanks, for the image, as well as your expertise!

Oustanding, Andreas! The soft and subtle changes in color combined with the spirals barely peeking through make for a wonderful image! Fantastic textures!!
