Description

beautifully detailed ship wreck is by Helmut Schaub. Many of whose models have inspired me to try to do them justice.

I like this a lot. I guess they're all lonely places... but this captures a definite mood of desolate isolation. The wreck is great, and I love the texturing and deailt of the shoreline, with the few scattered artefacts and the unobtrusive skeleton. The wave breaking against the stern is very well done. Although I accept it fits with the mood of the piece, I would have preferred a richer sky though - dark and stormy to be sure, but this one looks a little washed out for my taste. Excellent work nonetheless.

To give another credit is a very nice thing to do. I give you credit for making an excellent picture.

It also needs shadows. Shadows of the broken masts falling across the weathered decks and sand. You have some shadows from the foliage which could be deepened a little more. And darken the interior of the ship where the open deck beams show inside. And make your deck textures all uniform. You have some patches that don't match the rest.

Great Scene ! I would suggest only to use better rendering mode (ultra) to improve quality - you should also render thumbnails like this - their quality would be better and will attract more vievers :-))) Good luck :-)))
