For the Photography Forum's May Challenge: Repetition
I liked the abstract minimalism of this photograph of sleepers stacked upon each other for use as a retaining wall, so I have included it in my gallery Even though it may look like a photograph of nothing to some, for me it is quite soothing in a zen kind of way...Agfa Digital Camera 1.3 mp with Photoshop post work to adjust levels.

It's beautiful....you know how much I appreciate such subtle beauty, which to many may seem like nothing. The colors (or lack thereof some may say) are wonderful, the texture so nice.... I love it!

I think the age of this gives a comfortable feel to it. Also the nails on th right side and the metalic look is very pleasing to the eye.

I like it, too. Reminds me of some of the old farm buildings where I grew up. I love the weatherbeaten look, both texture and color. I wish you had been there when I was a kid and taken just such a picture of my house, which was sided with cedar shingles, painted brown, but weatherbeaten to a blend of gold tones. I still remember the look after 40 years. Thanks for bringing back the memory.
