Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

atom123
oh the textures! great stuff!!!
Teyon
I'll just agree with the fact it's cool. Now for the crit: That ramp (at least I think it is) on the ground by the shipping entrance...the texture looks like brick at this distance. Was that intentional? If so you may want to give it a bit more thickness (the model not the texture).
Django
Looks great moe
ShadowWind
Awesome textures in your usually great flair...
sabaman
great work moe, as allways,...

All these alleys popping up after I did my alley scene. :( (Looks great!)

Awesome work Moe! This is itching for a fight scene!
chemicalbrother
nice work mate... it has a kinda grainy feel to it which i like (was that intentional or just luck ) reminds me of level 3 in splinter cell : )
Moebius87
Thanks for all the feedback, my friends! :o)
Teyon the steel plate in front of the roll down shutter is 15mm thk. in a standard 1.20 x 2.40 M sheet. The texture is one of those funky ones with the hatching pattern. Very poorly applied by myself. Mea culpa, dude. :o)
Modulok You're absolutely right about the camera angle - downright dull. I would've prefered a low shot off center revealing more of the building tops. But, that angle wouldn't have shown the texture variants on the street surface - seamless tile texture families that don't repeat as visibly.
chemicalbrother Coming from you... that means a lot! The grainy quality is caused by a couple of volumetric lights with a very subtle smoke texture applied as a sprite. Why am I not surprised that you caught that bit? :o)
Flak
Awesome texturing Moe. The only thing (and this is really picking nits) is that it may want some grit in the gutters.
oblivionblack
really splendid textures..I expecially like how you've dirtied them up to look so realistic.. I undestand when you say that you're bored :) when some project takes me a lot of time I get soon "tired" to work at it!!
starshuffler
Good job on the textures... I don't know how this is done, I wish I knew how. :-)
Svenart
I like the sharp textures and the arrangement. Good job.
Glazy
Great work,it reminds me of the type of location that can be seen in the Resident Evil games ! A break from Sci-Fi is good for you too !
billy-home
Excellent stuff matey, as Flak said it does need a bit of dirt in the gutters but that's about it my friend
Kate
wicked moe...very nicely done....you should be very pleased with this
shadow_dancer
awesome moe love the texture s:0 a true master you are
kaze
Oh, i like it indeed. The existing weathering is nice, i like the trash barrels. The drains are nicely aged, Although (i'm not a master at this, mind you, just a thought) you might want to age the fire escape and maybe chip some of the bricks. But bored is bored. Rock on, man. Nicely done render.
Undertech
Schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Moe. i like it! (i try to stay away from texturin)
EBac2001
nice work, though I agree that your lighting lacks mood... keep up the great work though. Maybe this will turn into a revisited work, on down the road
