Disturbing. I think there shoud be more moderation in the rendreosity commmunity. This is just wrong.

Just curious weezer, how to you find this image disturbing? It just looks like a gorilla sitting on his butt to me. And it's so nicely done.

An interesting image, wish I cold see more of the head. Leaves make a great texture in contrast to ground above. Not sure I understand weezerhopw as I have found way more questionable images here at Renderosity.

What a variety of comments! Thank you all. I'm scratching my head here and puzzling over how this could be disturbing and wrong. I took the picture at the San Diego Zoo, I was surrounded by school children. The gorilla wouldn't turn around, I was up against the glass wishing he would move, but he wouldnt budge. I thought his back was an interesting study, so strong and masculine. Maybe it was a girl gorilla, I dont know. Anyway thanks again for all your comments, it's fascinating to see what diferent people read into what I thought was an innocent vacation picture :-)

Hmm aint life strange! It is an interesting study, and I cannot see anything wrong with this! Perhaps mizlaura a few comments from those with an eye for the intrinsic qualities that lie within this image may reassure you! It may help us to believe you had more things in mind than a simple holiday snap.. Wonderful image in any case..
