Description

I'm having a creative downtime (Also known as laziness). What do I do? Start rendering freebies! It eventually turned into a study in Bryce parametric textures. I know I've gone this road before but I this time it's with an orange LOL. The red(Fuji?Red delcious?Gala?) apples, pear, cherries, green bananas are downloaded from 3dcafe.com. The green(Granny Smith) and yellowish(Golden Delicious) apples, the spotty banana, green grapes, and the orange are free stuff by SylvieB92, one of our greatest contributor of free stuff and one of my favorite artists here. Thanks Sylvie! Some postwork in Photoshop. Thanks for dropping by.

Nice job Alvin, once again I'm impressed. You have a really good knack for up-close realism and I think you did great here. The apples look fine to me...makes me hungry. :)

Wish I could study this well. I couldn't even do this with a camera LOL. Lighting, realism, composition top notch. The colors are so vibrant! Love it, a vote ;-)

I like your answer for down time and creative management, when I'm down, I'm down and out. Great and creative exercise, with sweet results

I wish i am as productive as you when i am lazy or when i have creative downtime. for some reason, i see no difference in your work when you are lazy or not. it still is looking great. you have this talent for making simple, and more often than not, overlooked things look so awesome.

Don't tell me the front banana is a bryce procedural? That has got to be a photographic texture, just like the red apples. The rest is awesome too though, great work!

This is not the PhotoGallery... please upload your stuff in the right place ;o) Well, I know creative downtime because I'm having some (too much work and laziness, of course) but if your loss of inspiration means beauties like this, well, I hope you'll have often. Hehehe... just kiddin'. Excellent composition and use of lights, and mats are so realistics! Congrats :o))) - Carlo

Sorry I didn't mention. terra man is absolutely right. The frontmost banana texture is just as downloaded from Sylvie. The red apple texture is also as I downloaded from 3dcafe. My study was on the yellow/green apples and the orange, also blurry transmissions on the grapes. Thanks so much guys for all the support and encouragement.

Put the camera away, stop taking pictures and get back to Bryce!!!!!!!!! - Excellnet job, the composition and softness in lighting/shadows really makes this realistic. Outstanding job!
