The surface in front looks very good. You only need a few more layers at the steeper parts. Go on with this! :-)

Nice coloring for this surface map. Agree with HeikoH about more layers. You should give a try to "World machine", shareware, or Terraformer, freeware, excellent terrain generators, see Terrasource for url, or mail me.
