Description
"Time's up!" the guard outside the cell bellowed, pulling the rusty door open noisily.
She gazed up into his eyes one last time, a single tear falling from her eye. That look in his eyes, on his face... She could tell he had lied. His promise meant nothing. He was never able to lie to her before, what made him think this one time would be any different?
"Come on!" the guard growled from the other side of the open door. "I don't have all day."
She watched him for a moment longer, searching his eyes for any hint of what may be happening. She could tell something bad was going to happen, but she couldn't tell what. Turning away, she walked toward the cell's door and past the guard. Tears slid down her cheeks as she went, no longer able to be held back.
What will happen next? she asked herself, unsure of whether she wanted to know the answer or not.
Seeing as my creative juices are all but gone, I just decided to do a follow-up of the last image I posted. Credits are all the same as the last one. This is only my second attempt at painting tears, but I'm fairly happy with how this turned out. I got to do some more post on problems with her arm, too. Yay! I'm not sure, but this may end up being my last post here for a few months (three or so). I might have time for another, but I'm not sure...

Nice follow up. And again, nice to see some more of story. Your postworking is coming along just great. The tears look pretty good. Very well done.

OOOO, it just gets better. The tears look good to me. I'm writing a story (well, quite a few stories actually) and I love to draw how I think the characters look too. I'll have to try to get a few of them on here pretty soon, and share the story w/ya'll. The stories are all pretty long though, and I will have to figure out how to use my dad's scanner and put them here on renderosity. :D That will be fun! majorsarcasm Anyways, EVENTUALLY, I will put somthing on here. Great job w/the pic. and the story. ~Boe~
